Inspiration

This is the third in a series of "**one dot**" mugs I've been working on since 2023. The constraint is the point: one mark, made with one brush, in under three seconds, after the mug is otherwise finished. You can't fix it. You can't add another. You either commit to the placement or you start over. It's the most useful drawing practice I've found.

Notes on making

Thrown on the wheel, trimmed at leather-hard, bisque-fired, then underglazed and clear-glazed. The dot was a single sable-7 brush loaded once.
