My mother taught me a chain stitch when I was eight and I forgot it for twenty years. Picking it back up during a long pandemic weekend was the closest I have felt to **muscle memory** as an actual emotion — my hands knew before I did. This hoop is from the first session that reminded me.
Notes on making
Six rows of chain stitch, three above and three below the central running stitch. Marigold French knots punctuate the centre line.
